Winter Recreation in the Carpathians

• Every year, as soon as winter falls, we are all thinking about a nice vacation with our friends or children. The Carpathians are the best place for winter vacation. There is a T-bar lift close (2km) to “Solnce Karpat”. It is called “Medvezhyi” (“Vedmezhyi”). The slope's length is 800m, easy and medium difficulties. “Medvezhyi” is fit with special snow cannons which provide snow constantly. Ski equipment is available for rent.
• Those who prefer skating can use the ice rink which is filled every year with the temperature below zero.
• Winter recreation in the Carpathian also includes thermal basin and vat bathing, historical tours, hiking, wine cellar visits and wine tasting, and so on.
